Hey guys, just wondering if adding an intake will make a blow off valve louder. I wanna purchase an intake soon and was just wondering if there were any recommendations. Thanks.

i don't have one, but most report that it does. i revomed my air intake silencer on my wrx, not on my sti yet, and it did make it slightly louder so i would assume an intake would make it noticable.

if i get an intake i would get the turbo xs shorty intake. some like the blitz sus, but i just do see how stainless steel mesh can filter out dust/dirt particles. i have had many turbo xs products, and they are always high quality.

ya it will indeed also u will hear turbo alot more. i love the sound.

Thanks guys, yeah I will probably get the Injen or TurboXS, I've been looking at both but can't decide on which one to get yet.

another + for turboxs, they have a dyno proven intake, and have alot more subaru subaru experience than most.
