| Lurker | I sound like a noob but in what position should I set the DCCD to get a 50/50 slpit of torque and traction? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Im assuming you leave it auto for normal driving conditions and lock it under limited traction condidtions? lemme know if im wrong, im a bit confused. |

I'm not sure what's best for the track, but basically leave it open/auto most of the time, and when it gets slippery, turn up the lock. Full lock should be saved for gravel, dirt, or snow.... it's not good for rain, you still have too much traction. (based on my experiences w/ a 4x4 truck....) |

| Spiteful Old Codger | I think most of the confusion surrounding the F/R torque split stems from the fact that people don't realize that the DCCD clutch distributes torque in proportion to slip - just like a common LSD. Otherwise, the F/R split is simply a funtion of the DCCD's gearing (35/65). At least that's my understanding. |
