Default Anyones DCCD button howl?

Sometimes, but not all the time, if the DCCD button is one click from the bottom all the way to LOCK, it'll hum kinda high pitched. Its a quite hum but its still very noticable. The tone changes when i click it into different spots. Maybe a bad ground or something?

Mine doesn't do this.

I always leave it in full open, BTW (all the way down, I think) since I don't want it going to full lock if I accidentally hit the DCCD switch doing 70 mph on dry pavement.

I always leave in in open, unless i wanna slide around, launch, or drive on snow. I think i have a bad ground. It changes with the rev of the motor, anyone else have an idea?

you guys have never heard that howling noise on the wrx/sti going 60+?

all my wrx/sti friends hear it all the time (all 7 of them). Ranging from 04-06.

There's lots of sounds, none of them sound like an electrical hum. Tires, tranny, exhaust, wind...
