Default Wheel bearing gone out on me?

Hey all,
I have just started hearing this squeaking sound coming from my right front wheel. It gets faster as the car moves faster. It ONLY happens when under slight acceleration but its fairly loud. I have tried hitting the brakes while it was squeaking and the noise doesn't seem to be related to brakes. I lifted the car up and tried to wiggle the wheel but there was NO play in it. What the heck could it be? Thanks for any help.

How were you wiggling the wheel?

Did you pull the wheel off, and check the pads (just to be sure), and look for any rocks stuck in something?

I wiggled the wheel in every way, up down lafte right forward back. No play was apparent. I have not taken the wheel off yet though.
