Default loud noise from shifter

so i had the TIC SS kit for while and i always had the problem with little vibration from the reverse lockout hitting against the shift lever, its not a big deal and its not that loud.

but recently, i notice this louder vibration noise, almost sound like something is hitting metal to metal by the shifter. and it only does it around 4k rpm. only at cruise. i never cruise on 4k, but if i leave it there it would start making noise...

however in one instance, i was in my 6th gear and it was rattling like this for throughout the whole freeway ride. and it only happened once and never happened again... so i checked my engine oil and it seems like everything is ok. but i know its definitly coming from either tranny or shifter...

anyone know what this could be?

Check to make sure all of your bolts on the shifter assembly are within torque spec. I installed my shift kit a month ago and recently it started loosening up on me and making some wierd noises. I went under the car and found that the bushings had fully seated and the bolts had all loosened up. I cranked everything back to spec and now there are no more wierd noises.
