Default Shift problems, right side limit gone!!

I just got my '07 back from the dealership after having the SPT stage 1 installed (it was part of the deal otherwise I too would have waited for the Cobb Stage 2). As soon as I hit, or tried to hit, 5th I way overshot and was banging into, well nothing. The right side limit was totally blown. Reverse is a little better but 5th is unusable (I'm now a 4th to 6th guy). I've looked around and there doesn't appear to be anything limiting throw or gates OUTSIDE of the transmission. Could it be coincedence that they were playing around that area at the same time as the tranny screwed the pooch? SOA says the shifter limits are imposed inside the tranny. Love any help.

Also, yes my '07 has hesitation problems which are clearing up. Once and awhile the '07 simply leaps, it's truly awesome, much more impressive than my '04. If only I could count on it...

Yeah most shops don't mess with the 6spd because you need a 45+ ton press for the throat size. Yes the lock out cable can bind causing, well no sidewall.

Mine replaced my 2nd 4th 5th and 6th syncros, and they are a pretty small dealership.

I had to adjust the reverse lockout cable after my clutch install. And now it's starting to feel a little loose again, so I had to look up the cable adjustment page from the manual and thought I would post it here for reference. The important thing is to make sure the cable is the correct length. This is the cable where it attaches to the reverse lockout lever under the car on the transmission tunnel.

Does anyone have pics of exactly how this is done?

I would like a better description for this, please?!

I think valet didn't understand how to get into reverse and they just forced it in and broke the reverse lockout.

Hence why no one ever drives my STI unless I'm in the passenger seat.
