| Junior STI Driver | I read all the writeup on scoobymods about installing shifter bushings, but the all seem to be on legacy/wrx/rs imprezas. the 6mt linkage seems to be substantially different. there is not enough clearance between the unibody and the linkage to get the bolt out that secures the shift stabiliser to the transmission. any help would be appriciated. | Junior STI Driver | Can't help you out yet. I just ordered mine 15 minutes ago. Be sure to post up what you find after you get them in. ---------------------- http://www.stifiles.com stott |

| www.Subie.tv is niiice | You need to unbolt the transmission from the mount and give yourself enough room to slide the tranny to one side. You will have to do it way harder than you think is safe, but all you are doing is putting stress on the engine and pitchstop mounts. It is easier on a lift, but I hope this helps if you are doing it on jack stands. |
