hmmm ... 3/16" mod packs and hoses, silencer hack, drop in filter (STi's - so its gotta work correctly if its subaru oriented), you already have race fuel, I will try to think of some more "freebie" mods for ya and if you wnat more info on that stuff let me know (pm me).

ya I was trying to think of mods taht require no tuning/modification or a lot of cost. A downpipe raises boost and removes cat making it not street legal / "dangerous". So i didnt know if that was what he wanted or not. Hey you know what though? A GROUNDING KIT is cheap and hassle free! Some ponies and smoother ride all in one! hehe

Downpipe with stock cat-back, maybe header with uppipe. Bam...quiet, much more fun.

Default Thansk man.......

Grab a GPmoto header and intake silencer delete elbow. No engine management for knock or boostcreep required or legal issues and very simple installation, can be done in three hours. You will see real world results. Fun drivable torque and whp very attainable. I thought I saw a good deal on Nasioc for this stuff. There is also some dyno sheets on there. I feel I must tell you. You WILL see the best results for any modifications with proper engine tuning.
Happy tuning, Abdi

Now that I'm home, I feel like I should clarify some things. Nomex suit is on.
There are many thing you can do...Different name brands that you can buy, and that is totally up to you. I don''t have Gpmoto stuff. I was just trying to give you a reasonanble quick idea. I say that cuase I don't like to endose any brands or shops. You might find that before you can unleash just some of the potential of your Sti. You are going to have to do some homework. Lots of reading! For those of us without full access to a dyno we must learn from others mistakes and achivements. I find myself learning new things everyday.
Lots of good people and stuff all over this site.

Personally, I'd suggest some simple suspension mods like front/rear swaybars, springs, and strut bars.

HP mods are trickier since the EJ257 is so new. Even generally safe mods like intake and exhaust can result in boost creep, requiring waste gate porting. Drop-in filter, axle-back, and silencer mod are STi-safe and provide some ear candy, in addition to a few HP.

Brakes are already good, but braided stainless lines and upgraded pads and fluid are good for heavily tracked cars.

And, of course, the driver mod is always a good idea. Attend a high performance driving education (HPDE) or autocross school.

My thoughts exactly.

Pinks and harded strut tops would be good for tracking.

Default NH Events?

wow... i didnt think you wantd to buy big stuff like downpipes and such. If you want a DP I sell the godspeed and others, but the Godspeed is what i use and recommend as it is CEL free. (Been so for 18k miles now). I also sell the XXTuning headers... invisigaurd dynoed 25wtq on the GTspec 2 headers (which these are exact replicas, made by the same overseas company, but without the fancy name and therefore cheaper ). On a stock STi they have dynoed at 14whp/18wtq or something like that... so they are very nice mods . Just let me know and I can get you just about anything. I just became a perrin dealer, so i can get the crank pulley, downpipe, exhaust, intake, etc...

Robert~
