Default quick question! combining 75w-90 w/ 80w-90. Possible?

like the title says, i have three quarts of 75w-90 and two quarts of 80w-90 valvoline non-syn. can i combine these (3 quarts of the 75w and 1.3 quarts of the 80w) for a tranny fluid change? im changing it today so any help is appreciated!

my thoughts are that you would change the weight of the oil to ~77w. i don't see it being bad.

I've run both, depending on what I've been able to find at the time. Frankly, I can't tell any difference so mixing 'em shouldn't matter a bit. I say do it.
