Default Sticky first gear

When the weather is cold, the first gear gets sticky and won't come out of gear easily. Is this normal in cold weather with the car not warmed up? It's not really a problem but more of an annoyance. I never experienced this in warm weather. Thanks in advance.

My gearbox is abnormally stiff when cold too. The colder it gets, the worse it gets. When it gets up to operating temp it goes back to normal.

Thanks. Didn't worry too much in the first place but it's good to know for sure that it's normal

Just go easy on it until the car is thoroughly warmed up and you've got nothing to worry about.
