Getting stuck in the snow...

So if I am in Lock mode and I am stuck spinning the tires does this wear down the dif? I got stuck backing out of my driveway (we got lots of snow). I had to dig it out but other than that it handled great.

This may be a stupid answer

but the only way I would think it would is IF there is no oil what so ever in the Diffs...

What tires are you running or was it a ground clearance issue?

I managed to find the limits of all seasons and got my car stuck for a few minutes in some hard pack snow

It was a ground clearance and traction issue...he might have had a similar occurrence...

On my Nokian RSi's the only way I got stuck was in drift snow that was obviously too deep...

Yea the snow was too deep. It was prolly high centered and had traction problems since the rears were just on packed snow.

No, there was just 2ft+ of snow.

I got stuck about 15 times in the last 2 days and just powered it out. Actually over heated the diffs several times and got the green flashing light from the DCCD. I think its ok but any input on if that did any dammage?

I'd change the fluid out as soon as you get a chance.
