Unhappy Clutch or What?

im launching my car at around 4.5-5k and the last two times i did it i fully disengaged the clutch but it stayed at 5k. i put the clutch back in and shifted into second and it still stayed at 5k and i had to slip uit to get it into gear. i dont know whats going on

the last two times you launched it from 5k? how many times did you launch it from 5k? you're clutch is probably fried for good.

i have only launched the car about 10 times. every time i vary it between 4.5k-5k and it has never done that before. the car only has 3k miles

i would say its your clutch.. and if its slipping at 5k you'd def. smell it frying.
