why would you down shift to 3rd gear if you're at 5k rpms in 4th?

Could it be your heel-toe needs practice?

^^ agreed...sounds like when you heel toe, your slipping the clutch, but not fully engaging it (maybe resting your foot on the clutch a little too hard), then around 3k it catches, thus the jerking.

Next time you heel toe downshift, MOVE YOUR FOOT...report back as to whether or not this still happens.

Definitely the car.

But seriously, just work on your technique, it'll smooth out eventually.

as for the heel toe issue, it shouldnt be the issue. been doing it for a while. the brake and gas modulation may not always in perfect sync but its good imo.

lemme try again

scenario.... drving down the road in fourth at about 5.5rpms, hit the brakes, heel toe to third and go through the turn. now as the rpms are dropping mid turn at about 4.5k rpms to 3.5k rpms?, the car does a jerk similar to fuel cutoff or somthing (could it be fuel cut off?). lemme say again, the transition from 4th to third is smooth. after about dropping to about 3k rpms, the car just jerks.

this has happened through similar turns even when im already driving through in third gear (did not downshift or anything.... was already crusing in third). its a bit of a sharp turn and it always happens when the rpms start to drop and get around the 3k range (guesstimate).
