I'm going to try and take some videos/sound clips pre- and post-install to see if I can help convey just how stiff these mounts are (i.e. NVH, motor movement, etc.)
So for those of you that have them, tell me again how much you love them... |
They're pretty easy to install yourself, just take your time. I took the intercooler off and the pitchstop. I then used a peice of 2x4 and a floor jack under the rear part of the oil pan (the rear rounded edge, thats the strongest part of the pan) and jacked the engine up slowly till I had room to work. The rear bolt on the passenger side for the plate is a pain in the azz. All the others were very easy. Save your money and do the install yourself. These mounts are one of the best things I've installed on my car. They should have been my first mod.
