Default Diff fluid black at 10k?

I just got finished changing all of my diff fluids, the rear diff fluid was black instead of the yellow if should have been. Is this normal? I am assuming because I have a lot of track miles if is probably like it should have been at 30K on the street.

At 8900 mine was black. The key is whether there was any fibrous or metallic material in the fluid or bottom of the drain pan. I had none, so rear is good to go.

I just used the stock lsd fluid from Subaru in the rear, and Valvoline Synthetic in the Front and Tranny.

Never seen it completely black... It does get pretty nasty.

The tranny is usually very clean in comparison.
