Default Low tranmission oil at 3000 miles??

My transmission oil is reading at the top of the letter L on the oil measuring stick. Is this normal? If not what should I do?

thanks

Tell your dealer to add a half quart of standard issue 75/90 GL5 NS gear oil FOR FREE!.... and keep an eye on it to see why it was low. Maybe it was always low? Does it leak?

The difference between the L and F line is 1/2 a quart.

there are reports of imprezas coming low on tranny oil from the factory. so this might be "normal".
