The only experience I have with my car on a slippery surface was the last time I was home in Illinois. I took a gravel road just for the fun of it and I locked the diff just to see what it was like. It made me feel like a rally car driver... It was intuitive, just brush the brakes and turn the steering wheel a bit to induce drift, and play with the throttle to get through the turn.
