| Amateur STI Driver | I am not going to mod my sti that much. I just wanted to put a jic cat back on it, test pipe, 3 inch down pipe, up pipe, and maybe a new turbo manifold. What kind of power do you guys think that i could get out of an otherwise stock sti. The beauty of the sti is that its already fairly stout car, I just want to get it breathing a lil easier, and put some nice suspension and wheels on it and make it a daily driver, and weekend track car. I am sorry if you guys get alot of posts like these dont flame me, i apologize if you guys are sick of answering these questions. I am too used to honda-tech thats why i apologize in advance  This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

So, what you are basically adding is a turboback exhaust, which should be good for about 25whp - 30whp (with a boost controller). Note, however, that if you do a downpipe and a catback, you will have boost creep unless you port the wastegate on the turbo. Note - this is not NASIOC, so the flaming is kept to a minimum  |

| Amateur STI Driver | That is kinda wierd that it would do that......Can i just buy an aftermarket one instead or porting the stock one? Might as well if i go through all the trouble. Or is it fairly easy to do. Do i need to get it milled or what? And as far as the exhaust is concerned 3inch is good right? And will it boost creep if i just put the exhaust on it>?
