sounds like a possible wheel bearing noise or maybe your tires are cupping, Feel the inside of your tires, do they have a high spot on 1 tread block then low on the next? Try rotating the tires from left to right and see if the noise moves with the tires. Also when driving on a nice smooth road make smooth left to right turns like your swerving back and fourth and see if the noise is less when you go from side to side, a good way to test wheel bearings.

I would say it might be a bad wheel bearing, but the noise is usually more pronounced when turning (from my experience)...

The performance certainly doesn't suffer, but it is something that I have been meaning to contact KW about.

It still doesn't address the front noises though...
my KW's are at 14" rear. I'm thinking about getting taller springs for the rear.

Find and print out the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act. It describes how the dealer denying the service has to prove the aftermarket part is causing, the part your talking about, to fail.

anything power related they can point to causing the failure if it's drivetrain related or cooling system related.

remember dealers are reluctant to work under warranty b/c they don't get paid as much.

if you're not an ass about it and willing to pay for a portion of the work they are more willing to help.

remember there is a chance the added power from your downpipe caused the failure.

well it's a good thing KW has a lifetime warranty.

just call them up and tell them the issues and they will help you out as much as possible.

Tomorrow I am doing a test.

I am going to install the stock springs and struts and go for a drive. If the noise is gone, I know it is the KW's. If it is still there, I know I can rule out coilover noise...

I'll let you guys know what I find.

Based upon the description I'm gonna be +1 on a wheel bearing issue. Too bad no access to chassis ears as that would help pinpoint.

Other option place car on 4 jackstands and run in gear (be very careful).
I use a hoist and run in gear with a super long extension, touch hard parts in the suspect area with the extenstion on the flap of my ear. Be surprised at what you find (hear).

How was the test, I'm interested in your results. Cold days, mine squeak like mofo.

I haven't gotten around to it yet guys. I have had to replace half of my roof the last couple days

Why does it have to be rainy season?

I am hoping I can get around to it tomorrow before it starts raining again on Fri.
