Default MB Quart tweeter install in rear doors

This may of course be normal but I now have 6K miles and I get a very loud hissing noise when I’m in the 3K to 4K RPM range. Its there even if I just hover at say 4K rpms with no acceleration. I am stock. I’m hoping its just the blow off valve or something. Its pretty loud.

does it happen when you let up on the gas from part throttle? my car does make a hissssss sound when i let up on the gas under the situation you describe, but its done it from day one. i'm pretty sure its just the wastegate blowing off boost. but i really don't know all that much about turbo systems so don't take my word for it.
