| The Next Petter Solberg | sounds like a leak to me. Did you change the gaskets? by the way I was reading on the NASIOC that some header throw CEL's? Anything like that with you? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2003 Trader Rating: (7) | Maybe this is a dumb question but I'll post it anyway: Exactly how is it possible that headers provide such an increase in HP with the stock exhaust? I don't see how headers can move exhaust gas through any quicker if there's a bottleneck inline behind them? And how are they better than the stock manifolds anyway, are the pipe diameters bigger? Maybe the wall is smoother than a casting, but I don't see that yielding 20 hp. (I've seen the XX charts so there must be something happening, just not sure how) Last question - since they're just a bunch of welded tubes, is there a weight savings over the stock manifolds? Gracias... |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | probably a bad install. your post doesn't make a whole lot of sense, either. try using linear thought translated to comprehensible text. what i did gather: install was difficult (i assume you installed it) there is a "weird noise" when you are at WOT you have never hit fuel cut my opinion: have a professional look at the install and diagnose the problem. list your other mods that you may have installed at the same time (eg: TBE, intake, etc) This ad is not endorsed by this member.
