sounds like a leak to me. Did you change the gaskets? by the way I was reading on the NASIOC that some header throw CEL's? Anything like that with you?

Maybe this is a dumb question but I'll post it anyway: Exactly how is it possible that headers provide such an increase in HP with the stock exhaust? I don't see how headers can move exhaust gas through any quicker if there's a bottleneck inline behind them? And how are they better than the stock manifolds anyway, are the pipe diameters bigger? Maybe the wall is smoother than a casting, but I don't see that yielding 20 hp. (I've seen the XX charts so there must be something happening, just not sure how) Last question - since they're just a bunch of welded tubes, is there a weight savings over the stock manifolds?

Gracias...

probably a bad install. your post doesn't make a whole lot of sense, either. try using linear thought translated to comprehensible text.

what i did gather:

install was difficult (i assume you installed it)
there is a "weird noise" when you are at WOT
you have never hit fuel cut

my opinion:

have a professional look at the install and diagnose the problem.
list your other mods that you may have installed at the same time (eg: TBE, intake, etc)
