Hello everybody, this is my first time posting on this here forum. I am part of the group buy, so I was especially interested in the dyno graphs. Just eye-balling the graphs I came up with these numbers, in the following format: RPM, Delta Torque, Delta HP

2500 10 5
3000 40 25
3500 30 20
4000 20 15
4500 15 16
5000 14 15
5500 15 15
6000 12 15
6500 10 11

Check that out... +40 ft-lb and +25 hp at 3000RPM! Am I wrong here? Does everyone see this?!? Wow...I thought this car was fun to 'squirt' around it before....

Again, this is just eyeballing the pictures, and is not exact by any means. But it's interesting that the gains are at lower RPMs, that 'velocity chamber' must actually work Upper RPM gains are not as extreme, I guess due to the limited flow of the turbo  I would think aftermarket headers would really show their stuff at high RPMs.

Anyways, back to work.

they would show their stuff at higher rpms if the turbo wasnt so overloaded as it is... (hence why the power gains are in the ~3000-4000rpm range). You will get more a top end gain from 4-2-1 or equal length headers... but good luck getting those at a reasonable price, that and enjoy sounding hondaish

I'm getting the XX Tuning header and uppipe put on as we speak today and I'm picking it up at 5:30p, I'll post tomorrow how I feel about. I'm confident, those guys have always taken care of me.

I just got my car back from XX Tuning yesterday with the header and uppipe. It definetly rips harder than before. I think it pulls harder at higher RPM's although others posted just the opposite. As for people talking **** about XX, Don't hate the Playa, hate the game. They make POWER and treat people like more than just customers.

Was it at same boost level? Looks to me the boost curve is altered by the header? Do you have the data for boost levels for STOCK vs Header&Uppipe?

Default Deadbolt

the car was untouched between runs.. Only the header was replaced...
Same boost levels, if they are higher it was cause the header was flowing better.. I can post the boost plots too is you wish tomorrow.

It would be interesting to observe the boost levels throughout the whole dyno pull.

Wassup Al and the xxtuning team! i had a question. If i get these headers and lets say i have a turboxs stealthback, would i have any boost creep issues? to better ask the question lets say i already had the stealthback and i had no boost creep issues, would adding these headers possibly cause boost creep or overboost since u stated before that it did change the way boost pressure engages? sorry if i am asking a dumb question but i am learning.

Cheers
