Put mine in last week. Sounds like a tractor putzing around the parking lot, but LOVE the pedal feel and engagement. I've only stalled it once. Guess you take the good (everything) with the bad (rattle).

^ exedy twins come with their own flywheel.

you think the twin is loud, you should hear the triple. the chattering from the twin will eventually quiet down a little, but you'll always hear it.

after owning an exedy twin disc, and then driving an sti with an act 6 puck upsprung, I'd go with the act. I liked the engagement much better, and it was very quiet. the act 6 puck unsprung will hold 500+, and it's hard to beat for $479 (using stock flywheel). that's just my opinion though...

I have exedy twin carbon on my 04 STI too.
Same thing, the chatter sound is so loud . Im thinking to change it to
single carbon coz I dont actually have that much power. Can a single carbon
hold about 300 hp on wheel ? coz I dont want to regret later.. or can anyone
know any good organic clutch thatcan hold that much power ?

From what I understand Clutmaster make a single plate that can. It supposed to have a wider area which has the grip of a double and ease, quietness of a single.

I ordered this clutch because I wanted something beefy that could take alot of actual race track abuse but still be driven daily. Would you reccomend the heavy duty organic from ACT instead because of its familiarity to you foot but being able t take what I am going to do to it at Sebring? I really want to make a good decision but I will have an FP Green soon and going for 400 whtq (after the 07 AP2 comes out...). Help...
