IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | will an axel (pass front) from a 2004 work in my05? Its kind of wierd, because without going to a dealer, i cannot find an axel for my 2005 sti anywhere, but i can for an 04. Also, is there a way to rebuild your axels, if the problem is not with the shaft itself, instead with the end that goes into the transmission, as there was alot of play in mine, so i took it apart and noticed alot of scoring in the joint, where the end spins on the bearings in the cv joint. I figured it was caused by my hard launches, so i should just replace the whole axel, but it is not very easy to get one. Thanks again.. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
