It's pretty great - I was initially afraid it wouldn't live up to the hype. I've gotten used to it now and I almost forget what the car felt like pre-DS. Oh, and it performed flawlessly at Laguna Seca, though I wasn't able to take it much past 100-110mph.

If anyone gets the braille or other brand DS, let us know how it works.

They have them in stock, but they are not advertised on the website for some reason. I just got a battery from there and had a long discussion with Blake about the DS. If you are interested just give them a call.

I'm happy with my ACPT. I also have a light weight flywheel and there's no drivability issues with having them paired up. 14.75lb prostreet forged steel flywheel.

Braille sent me pics...they are the exact same pics that ACPT uses...so either Braille bogarted the ACPT pics because they are too lazy to take pics themselves or it is just the ACPT shaft rebadged and a couple hundred bucks added on.

Interesting... they shouldn't be able to use the same pics. They confirmed that the pics were of there product?

Correct...I emailed and asked for pics, price, availability and they responded with that info to include " The pictures of the product are attached."

It could be the same, I honestly don't know and didn't ask when I was talking to the guy at Braille.

People seem to really want the CF shaft and it is backordered. Some people are willing to spend more money rather than wait (not me) so I added the info to the thread.

Well this is what Braille did with the batteries, they buy them from Deka supercheap (I think mine retailed for $75), then double the price with their stickers. Good business model until the market figures it out. Same for the DS I would guess...

Hi fellows,

Because I am running a Euro Domestic Make (EDM) 2.0L STi, I will need to redrill one of the rear flange on the ACPT driveshaft for perfect fitment however no one can be sure if this will cause vibrations under high speed.

I heard that the 2007 USDM STis with DCCD's driveshaft have the similar fitting points compared to the JDM/ EDM which means, I don't have to redrill the flanges at all! As such, could the 2007 STi owners (UDSM with DCCD) advise if they had fitted the ACPT driveshafts and if there's any problems occur during installation?

My ACPT, DS was shipped yesterday by Jim, really excited about the product and I wanted to thank you all for the input.

I have two questions, first what are the torque specs for the installation ?
Second did you guys use thread lock if so red or blue ?

Thanks.
