IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | do any of you have an exedy twin plate clutch, lightened crank pulley and the driveshaft working fine in your car. i, as some of you know, have been working on an issue with my car not liking the shaft. im grasping at straws here. im only looking for info from those who have this combo installed and working, or from those of you who KNOW FOR A FACT that someone has this combo. thanks ted This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | rdrcr - unfortunatly i am on first name basis with james. for some reason my car seems to be super sensitive to this mod. as of now i have had the frame checked (ok) and driveshaft angle checked(now corrected). you can read about all the things i have done in the other thread or do a search for posts by me. so far no one has this setup that i know of.......not saying this IS my problem, more looking to rule it out by finding someone with this setup working. ted Last edited by nhsilversti; 09-14-2006 at 10:36 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | ^^^^^ Unfortunate? It's a good thing that you talk with James, he's a good guy. It is unfortunate that you can't find the problem with your combination. I have no need to do a search. I was hoping to send you in the right direction. However, you have already been there and it hasn't helped. Hopefully, either someone that has this combination or in the process of installing this setup so you can get some answers. Wish I was of more assistance. Mike |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | i have the clucth, and drive shaft. why do you have the pulley? makes it hard to tune. what is the issue. do you have the Perrin rear diff bushings? crossmember bushings? did you hammer out the well a little bit just to make sure there is no way it could rub? |

The rear diff & cross member bushings solved the (small) issue I was having, I think they are essential with this mod. Outrigger bushings can't hurt either. Hammering out the well is too obvious.......i'm sure he is well past that. | |
