Angry Clicking sound when letting out clutch

I've got 05 Sti with 27000. No crazy launches no drag strip action daily driver. I've been getting this clicking sound that I can acutally feel like somethink is clicking in the clutch pedal when I let out the clutch with and without the engine on. This is usually most noticeable after driving the car. I'm going to check tomorrow morning to see if this happens after the car has been sitting. Anyone experience this?

I've always had kind of a creak in my clutch, like a door that needs some wd-40. Not sure if that's what yours is like.

What's weird is it hapens even when the car is not on and you can feel the clicking in the clutch pedal. I'm kind of nervous about it.

Nothing can be done about it? It's not the throwout bearing , the clutch cylinder, or something else going bad?

I had that with mine as well, and when I asked subaru to look into it, they said there was a problem with the pedal assembly and had to replace it. Not a major issue, but the noise is gone now, and it didn't cost a penny

are you sure that sound is not caused by the springs on the clutch pedal?
