PM me your real name and address (yeah yeah, but have you ever tried to figure out who goes with what screenname in almost 100 orders in 4 days - it's darn tough)

in these situations, i find it can also help to try and get her a bit more in the mood. if you go all g.i. joe and try to shove it in without proper lub and such, things then to not end well.

like others have said, position matters, as well as the tools you use. be creative and you may be able to slip it in easier than if you just use your fingers.

yeah, it required a lot of pushing and hammering to get mine to fit. they still weren't in flush when i finally said F- it and pushed them into the linkage rod. lots of strong arm work, but it did work.

Ok so heres my story. Ive delt with TiC to know that they make small mods that really matter

I was sitting around and saw that TiC had released these. I didnt even need to know anything about them. I just placed the order.

TiC ships things out right away. Well today is wednesday and I got them. I see this on the forums and im thinking wow, maybe I should wait for the install meet if its that hard. (I do remember my rear diff mount on the klunk killer kit a huge PITA!)

Well I had nothing to do so I go to install them and they fit right in. It took 10 mins or so. Easy fitment, nothing too tough..

The feel awesome. As with all TiC's products. Its the small subtle changes that matter to me. The shifter is now complete!

So please dont hesitate to buy these when they have them in stock once again..

Also how tight is the bolt supposed to be? Is it supposed to be tight enough but still turnable?I tightened it all the way down and you couldnt even shift into gears without some serious force.

Maybe some just fit in better than others because mine just wouldn't go in quite far enough to allow it to fit into the linkage. After try and try again.. I finally have decided to give up and pull them out.. I'm still in the process of trying to remove them.. This install has gone absolutely poorly. These are now ruined and I just want them out. Taking a break for now and trying again just to be able to put my stock ones back in...

EDIT: Finished putting the stock bushings back in... what a work out. I'm dissapointed it didn't work out for me but thats just how it goes. I don't want to push anybody away from installing these or buying these.. I just couldn't get mine to install to completion. With that being said.. it was probably more user error than actual product fault.

Hmm, never was one to use a torque wrench.

Its all good. Before I took it for a ride I had to loosen it to to the point where it had alittle play...

I had some issues with the install too, ended up mucking up one of the bushings a bit; like a few others, ended up just jamming it in. I also apparently overtightened the bolt (even with my torque wrench, not sure how) to the point where shifting was nearly impossible. Backed off of it and it seems good to go. Lot more trouble than I was expecting...hope the bushing I mucked up doesn't die on me.
