Default Kartboy SS or GFB shifter kit

im looking into getting a short shifter for my 05 STi. who makes the best shifter? i hear alot of good things about the Kartboy setup and good things about the GFB. which one should i go with? any help would be appreciated.

you can see the install page Peaty made on the Scoobymods website. its really not that bad of an install. i think you can get the full install page on Turninconcepts.com website. along with their bushings.

I had my mechanic do it..he said it was pretty ruff..but most mechanics say the same thing..i wouldnt do it...leave it to a professional..

I don't know what the "GFB" shifter is. Link would be appreciated.

The Kartboy gets high marks, plus their product support is frigging awesome (hi Tom!).

I went with Cobb's short shifter because I wanted the adjustability.

i heard alot of people having cord problems with the kartboy setup, whats that about?

got me? you will need to use the second zipptie to keep the reverse lockout cable from rubbing the driveshaft but that is something that needs to be done with any aftermarket shifter setup.

GFB throws are much shorter then Kartboy (I have it), and it's adjustable, and everything can be installed from the inside the car.

This is off-topic but i have the factory short throw shifter, well the kartboy shifter still work?
