Default Re: Kartboy SS or GFB shifter kit

To resurrect a dead thread, I summon the minions of IWSTI to bring forth more information and opinions on this subject.

...anyhoo... I went to Roebling Road in Savannah and got to ride with Steve in his Boxer4Racing car. It had the GFB shifter and it was impressive how short the throw was. Has anyone here installed it or had any problems with it? How does it compare to the kartboy as far a throw length?

i have no experience with GFB shifter, but, i just don't see how the throws can be any shorter than kartboys without being comfortable.

Drive a car with a shorter throw and you'll understand... the term "flip of the wrist" come to mind.
