05 STi tranny/diff ??

whats going on everyone...

i just had a question, and was too lazy to search.. , do the transmission and front diff share the same reservoir/fluid... i just stripped the living sh%$ out of my lower diff drain plug, and noticed that the dipstick on the inside of my heatshield is a dipstick to my diff. i put 75/90 weight synthetic in it because that is what supposedly goes into my tranny....?? i talked to one of my friends and he told me that they do share the same reservoir but want a few other opinions. any info would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!!

I think it shares fluid with the center diff also
