I have the same issue when I start the car once in a while. I just turn the car off and then re-start it and it goes away.

I tried re-flashing back to stock and it still does it once in a while. I don't know what it means.

You could have knocked an ABS wheel speed sensor off if you were driving through very deep snow. I would look under neath and see if anything's hanging.

I keep meaning to post in here, but keep getting distracted. You have one of two problems.

1) if you have high milage on your car then your pads are worn, and you need to add a bit of brake fluid to the MC.
2) if you have the light due to donuts or snow driving you have done one of two things. a) vehicle speed sensor and ABS wigged out and you need to reset the ECU b) you have broken an ABS sensor lead as suggested above.

Edit: as pointed out below I am an idiot. For case number 1 it would be your brake light that would flash. BTW, there is a computer unit at the dealer that can pull the ABS codes. i thought that there was a way to do it by jumping some diag. plugs, but given how I'm doing today I would check for confirmation on that.

^^^^Does a low brake fluid level trigger the ABS light in the STi? In most vehicles it will trigger the 'BRAKE' warning light (e-brake indicator). Also, be careful adding brake fluid if the level is low due to brake pad wear-when the new pads are installed and the pistons in the caliper are compressed, the fluid will spill out over the top of the master cyl.

Good News, I finally took my car out (I still have those damn summer tires) to drive today and the ABS light disappear. Now I have to call the dealership and tell them it went away. I think that it was the snow and slipping of the wheels that cause them to come on. I'm not complaining anymore it went away.
