IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Ive recently purchased the cobb sts and got half way throught the install and ran into a problem. I cant get the bushings off the stock shifter! I need those bushings unless someone knows where i can buy a new set. Im not refering to the bushing under the car on the linkage, im talking about the bushings that are on the stock shift lever. If you have any advice please let me know thanks This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (10) | the front shifter stay bushing? if so, i would just get the kartboy bushing. makes a big difference in reducing shifter slop. i would also get the kartboy rear stay bushing as well. otherwise, i might suggest using wd-40 to lubricate the stock bushing first and then try getting it out. |

| Authorized Vendor | Nope, he's talking about the bushings in the lever. They are a total PITA to get out. I use a large punch to wedge it from the inside. Put the punch in, put the other end against your workbench and press down on the lever. When it starts moving put it on the opposite edge and press down so you drive them out evenly. |
