Default Tranny hard to get into first

Went out in the snow today and had some fun until...

i spun 1st then slammed 2nd gear and grinded, i've grinded 2nd before and i figured it'd be no big deal so i put it in third and spun into 4th gear. Then when i stopped i couldnt put it into 1st. Now 1st gear is so hard to get into. it still works but its tough.
Any ideas?
