| Amateur STI Driver | I'm sure you have all noticed that it is quite hard to shift into 1st and 2nd when it's really cold out for the first few miles in the morning, even after I fully warm the engine up . I'm getting close to my first trans oil change has anyone switched oil brands/types and had a better experience with the cold tranny? Thanks. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Double-clutching into 2nd gear: Press clutch pedal in Move shifter to neutral Let clutch pedal out Push clutch pedal in Move shifter into second gear Let clutch pedal out |

| S204 Racer | Mine's been cold enough that it doesn't want to come out of gear. I expected trouble getting it into the next gear, but not coming out. After about 2-3 minutes of driving it's OK, but around town from light to light, that 2-3 minutes can seem like forever. |

| S204 Racer | I've heard good things about it, but it just didn't work out for me. I've heard of another lube called Redline (I think). There was some additive I heard used in conjunction with it called Aftershock (again, I'm not sure of the name). People seemed to like it also. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
