IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Hey if I wanted to go to a 2WD dyno, is it possible to diconnect the drive from the front wheels and go like that? My buddy has a VW R32 and all he has to do is disconnect a plug and just his front wheels work, so he doesn't have to travel so far to an AWD dyno. This ad is not endorsed by this member. EDIT: this is just an idea to help you out. use your brain before doing something like that... I don't see how it could screw anything up though. |

| dances with roads | I might be missing something but I don't see the point of putting an AWD car on a 2WD dyno. Even if you can successfully send power to only 2 wheels, whatever data you get is going to be rendered meaningless the moment all 4 wheels are once again powered. |
