Default dyno question

Hey if I wanted to go to a 2WD dyno, is it possible to diconnect the drive from the front wheels and go like that? My buddy has a VW R32 and all he has to do is disconnect a plug and just his front wheels work, so he doesn't have to travel so far to an AWD dyno.

maybe you could take your driveshaft off and just run with the front wheels..

it only takes 15mins to take it off..

EDIT: this is just an idea to help you out. use your brain before doing something like that... I don't see how it could screw anything up though.

I might be missing something but I don't see the point of putting an AWD car on a 2WD dyno. Even if you can successfully send power to only 2 wheels, whatever data you get is going to be rendered meaningless the moment all 4 wheels are once again powered.
