IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2003 Trader Rating: (2) | I remember reading about mixing distilled water and washer fluid... as it would also clean/cool and can take temps to like -30*F. I was just making sure this was ok. I can get a gallon of Apex washer fluid from the dealership I work at for .88 cents. So that would be great, that way I dont have to make special trips to wallmart or whatever for distilled water. Thanks Robert~ This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I would not recommend any kind of fluid that doesn't evaporate cleanly. Alcohol is the best bet for making your mix work at sub-freezing temperatures, because it evaporates 100% clear. (don't buy a bottle of vodka or anything, you need pure alcohol) Washer fluid will leave a soapy residue on your IC... don't think its a good idea, but I have no experience with this so I could be wrong....
