IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | It's very easy. Since drifting is not about speed it's 4 wheel drift style ![]() Go get yourself 4 STi 17" donuts then you can drift the 4 wheel all day long - J/K.... And also prevent you from breaking down the tranny.. They are cheap too :P |

| Professional STI Racer | The only thing you need to do to an STI to drift it is Learn how to drive it. STIs will do it bone stock with the right driver. If I was going to mod it specifically for drifting... Coilovers with at least 10K rates, if not 12k 27mm front sway heaviest rear sway Replace every bushing in the back end of the car with as hard of material as possible Cusco front diff Cusco (or other brand) rear diff. As agressive locking as I can get Set DCCD to full rear. leave it there. Port/polish stock exh manifolds then wrap them Wrap up pipe, grind transition into it from manifold as smooth as possible Td06-25G 8cm exh housing Wrap exh housing Em/exh(catless) Set redline to 8k Alch injection, running 100% methanol FMIC, ceramic coat AND wrap pipes Roll CAGE << MOre stiffness than other braces Cusco rear under brace Cusco H brace up front Cusco strut bar rear+V brace Weld extension to E brake handle Disable the button that locks the e brake up Drivers race seat (HIGH side bolsters, REALLY high) Cams. Something with a powerband up to 8K Valve springs Considering you can drift a stock STI, that setup should do pretty well Last edited by Davenow; 11-02-2005 at 12:14 PM. |
