IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | just wondering how other dealers are taking care of the pinging problem. i took my car in monday morning, and was told the dealer would remove the ecu, overnight it to new jersey, they would reflash it and send it back. called today to see what was happening, was told they had not received the unit back yet, but were trying to find out. got a message later that there was apparently "some kind of problem with shipping", which i guess i'll find out about tomorrow morning. has anyone else run into delays like this, and if so, what did the dealer do to ease the pain of having to drive the dreaded cavalier for an entire week? IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | My dealer in Chico, CA was pretty cool. They tested the STI for the probs on Monday. Shipped out the ECU by that afternoon. Got into my Neon rental for a few days, and was back in my STI by Thursday, noon. Overall, it all went pretty smooth. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
