Default Gear Grind.....

Hey all,
Ive had my STI for almost a full year now.... have 25k miles on it and i just started developing a grind this month.... its a ***** to get it into 4th and 5th gear and if im not careful ill end up grinding them when i shift.... I have read a bunch of the posts about the syncros going bad and about the warranty issues about SOA not helping....I dont know if its my syncros or if it would be my clutch.... this is the car i learn to drive stick on... Any ideas would be great.... and my only problem with taking it to the dealer would be that since im 19 they automatically going to say that it is excessively hard driving that caused the problem not a defect (if it is the syncros).

Thanks

Default

I had the same problem.

Read this:

And the link within.

I just put in the Redline shockproof light weight & after the second day of driving now the grind is GONE! And I tried hard. This stuff is absolutely amazing.
