Well guess what? I fixed the whole boost creep crap and just put the stock dp back on today. I think I am going to sell my helix catless dp. Anyone want to buy it? I'll sell it for $200 bucks. I am just going to go with a header and catback exhaust now and then maybe Vishnu for EM.

or, go with a catted DP. I've read that does not cause boost creep in most common setups, and only gives up a few hp over a non-cat DP. STILL waiting for my Helix cat....

What can it hurt if I do everything but the dp?

It can't. But you need to understand that the very thing that causes boost creep, namely decreased back pressure, is what will give you most power.

A DP, even if you have to add in the cost of having the turbo ported, is the cheapest way to get power out of the stock exhaust.

You'll have this tuned header which will flow into the turbo, then out of the turbo it will go into not 1 but 2 (!!) crappy cats in the dp.

You will succeed in making more noise than stock, and probably not make any power.

it could be an interesting start for your car toward more power... but you decided to step back. oh well

TBE would make a big diff from stock, but need EM to run safe.

save yourself some headache later, get EM first like UTEC then put on the dp. you shouldn't see boost creep by then. and get catback finally.

then have a good tunner on dyno tuned. and you will have a big smile on your face.

Well I sold the dp on ebay! I am going to wait this time and get an ecu with it. I am also going to get a catted dp too. And vishnu is the way I am going, Cobb accessport is ok, but it's iffy.
