Currently have a perrin tmic and will be swapping to a turbo xs fmic...in your opinion am i going to need to mess with the utec maps or can it be run safely as is? it was tuned by turbo xs if that helps.

I would not call it a critcal adjustment, as one nice thing about upgraded intercooling is that along with the more dense and consequently leaner ratio, you get better resistance to detonation. It's virtually free power with little adjustment needed to the fuel metering or timing.
