Default Shifters weird new position

So i just got my car back from the dealer**** and they replaced some gears. anyways, i noticed that the shifter is lower than before. when its in 1st and 3rd it looks like its in neutral. when its in 2nd - rev, it hangs so low out of the trim. i dont remember it being this way. does any one have a fix for this or should i just suck it up or should i go back to the dealership and have them fix it?

Take it back. That does not look right at all. How did it drive? But definitely take it back. Looks like they somehow put a linkage in that was too long or just a wrong part or something.

They installed the linkage upside down. The STi linkage is not symmetrical like the 5MT linkage.

I know its an honest mistake, but seriously, I would be pissed that no one saw that at the dealer and did not notice. Take it back, get it done right.

I'll admit - I've done it myself before. That's really the only way I know about this.
