You forgot one thing: the OP's intended usage.
Trust me, I kept that in mind. All my above 3 points reiterated towards daily driving and the OP.

Once again, I was simply providing information to the OP based on my experiences. This is why I stated at the beginning of my first post "fwiw". I've shared my experiences, so the OP can take what he wants from it

Don't know if there would be a difference, but I'm running a ACT street/strip clutch in my Z. I push 416 to the wheels in low boost and it holds fine.

Umm, no you didn't, you stated your opinion on a weak clutch vs a decent clutch vs an insanely strong clutch. The Exedy that you cherish so much only holds 321 ft/lbs at the flywheel. Now if you consider an AWD drivetrain as a 25% loss, then that clutch is only able to support 241 wheel torque....not enough for a GT30r, sorry. The Clutchmasters FX200 is supposedly rated at between 400-450 flywheel torque, again taking into account drivetrain loss and using the higher rating number it would support 338 ft/lbs at the wheels....sorry again not enough for a GT30r even on 91 octane. While these two would be good for drivability they would need quickly replaced sooner if the OP decided that he would actually like to use the power available. The ACT 6-puck certainly is overkill and more clamp load is needed over the Exedy(who makes overrated pressure plates) and Clutchmasters.

I understand what you're trying to say here and agree, however, nowhere in my posts did I suggest or recommend the OP purchase any of the specific clutch models that I had mentioned. I simply gave my opinion based on my experience with the manufacturer, and used circuit racing as a medium in which to base the comparison, which is somewhat relevant for a daily driven vehicle.

Opinions are incredibly subjective, and we all have the right to our own. I happen to like Dakin as a result of my experiences with their products. My experience with ACT was not positive, therefore I will tend to lean towards a Dakin product for future projects; Hence my recommendation based on manufacturer.

It's just an opinion ... I was simply trying to extend the knowledge I have gained through my experience. Take it for what it's worth to you

I though a little about what you had originally posted and I was a little presumptive. Experiences are paramount when it comes to clutches, along with suspensions and other parts that are constantly up for subjective reviews here. I try to look at the numbers, which is kind of obvious by my post; numbers don't lie, but they don't tell the whole story just most of it.

I just did a DOM 3.0 which is a GT30. I made 427WHP and had to do a clutch.. This is my DD and I didnt want something with horrible engagment etc etc or tons of chatter.. I went with the ACT - SB4 - XTSS great clutch.. I talked to ACT and they suggested this over the standard HDSS if I was looking to track the car at all and if my power was gonna be close to 450WHP. The clutch is great on the road engagment is just like stock, no chatter really, I mean a little here and there whne its cold at idle.. Let me tell you this clutch GRABS.... I would really think about this clutch..
