If I was a tech at a car dealership I'd try and use their lifts instead of jackstands in a garage. A friend of mine is a tech at a Dodge dealership. One of my business partners has a Ram truck and he takes it there all the time (all too often) to fix things. Not a bad deal really.

I agree - a write up on this would be AWESOME. This could really be valuable for us do-it-yourselfers.

That would be great if you could do a write-up. I'm going to be doing my own in the next 2 months and this would be a real help!

Jackstands would be a real ***** to do a clutch job with though. I'll probably drop the tranny on my head...

Im surprised this already wasnt a sticky but its under STi performance clutch disc. I used this manual and it took about 6hrs with a lift to complete. Not that hard.

The intake might, but I think it'd be okay. The fuel pump is a swap-and-go mod: no tune necessary.

One note I always make for people doing this is that you don't have to touch the suspension at all to get the axles out. You can use a prior bar to push the trans from side to side to pop the axles out. That saves quite a bit of time and allows you to not have to worry about an alignment. Definitely a good trick.

reallly def would of help to know that earlier ^^^ lol

Hey turninconcepts i will be geting the Unabomber's Sexy Rearend soon.. Give me your best deal

Also a while back i bought you TiC 04/05 Holy Shift Set, i put every bushing except Shift Linkage Bushings becuase i could not figure how to get the top most linkage apart. Theres no nut on the other end to the bolt its just flat on top. Any ideas?

I know the linkage below the top most 1 has a bolt and nut.

I cant figure how to get it lose without it spinning as i unloosen it..

Also does it make a big difference that i dont have those bushings in (feeling wise)..???
