Default Car wash = Parking brake on

Okay, I've read that the Parking-brake will put the center diff. into more of a slip mode (allowing the fronts & rears to rotate at different speeds).

Well, for the about the 4th time in my ~15 years of driving, I brought my STI (2nd time for it in 1 year) to a high-end car wash. What I didn't see, is the attendant put on the Parking-brake.

I noticed at the end, when the front wheels were rotating, and the rears were not, but the machine was pushing the car through.

Car drives fine, but what are the chances of any long term damage?

Mike
