Default Diff temp light comes on once in awhile??

This just started to happen It even does it when the cars cold sometimes. It seems like it started doing ti when I got the Hydra back from updates. Could the Hydra be doing this? I was thinking maybe the sensor was going bad. It's so weird.

One of two things...either the sensor is wrong or your rear diff is blown.

Well lest time I changed the fluid witch was a month ago the fluid was good I've never seen any metal in the fluid don't have any sign's of a blown diff.

Sensor can't be wrong because it's all stock. So It's ether a bad connection witch is what I got my money on because it seems to fade on and off sometimes. or a bad sensor.

If the diff fluid is low why would the temp light come on? I noticed if I hit boost it goes off. It was flicking for a little today when i pulled out of my drive way but when the fluids get warm it doesn't come on at all.

Diff fluid low = inadequate lubrication which leads to increased heat. Assuming the sensor is functioning properly I would say this is a real possibility. However, given your description I would have to lean towards the electrical gremlin side, either loose connection somewhere (lots of fun to find) or a failing sensor in the rear end.

yea the problem seem's to be solved I puller the fill plug and the fluid streams out so I know it's full. Again my problem was when it was cold.
