Default Question about Group-N engine mounts...

Hey guys...just had my group-n engine mounts installed at a shop...I know the factory mounts have heat shields on them...but the shop did not transfer the heat shields over to the new mounts...This shop specializes in Subarus, so I assume they know what they are doing...but my question and I've searched...is it really necessary to have the heat shields in place? Those of you who have these engine mounts installed on your car...have you experienced any issues from the heat that is transfered to the mounts from the engine?

I'm little worried I might run into problems so please do chime in...

Thanks!

Kind Regards,
Ryan

heat shield? Never seen a "heat shield" around engine mount. if you're talking about the engine mount plate, you can either use your old mount plates or the new ones that came with the group n mounts
