Default TIC Super Shift Kit (PROBLEMS) PLz Help!!

alright guy yesterday afternoon i installed the super shift kit on my 04 sti.
Currently i just bought the car and its stage 1 with cobb ap. Well yesterday night on my way home i went to give my car one last good punch and when i went to go into 3rd gear my entire shifter move over. WTF!!
So i pulled over and pulled off the center counsel/boot and found out that the plastic cup with 2 o rings and the bottem of the shifter on the ball broke into 2 pieces and caused the shifter to fall out.

Y did this happen? I completely did as instructed and put alot of white litheum grease as well.

Where can i buy this plastic cup?

Can you please help me find the part number.

Has anyone ever experience this before?

plz help

If it split on the seam for that cup then you can just put it back in and you'll be fine.

If it didn't then you need a new cup. I suggest one of the dealers that hangs out on the forums so you can show them this pic so they can see the part you're talking about.

As for it popping out - either the snap ring was not seated all the way or it's fatigued.

My guess is that you may have cracked it while installing the KB SS. Dealerships sell OEM parts.

Just put it all back in until you get a new cup. The part it sits in will hold it together but make sure you get the snap ring fully seated. And remember to take it easy shifting until you get it replaced.
