Howling Noise From Rear Please Help

Whenever i'm on the highway at cruising speeds it sounds like howling coming from my rear pass side. What could it be? I thought it was just the road noise but not sure. Could it be my rear diff? Why would it make a howling sound? It seems to be the loudest at about 80mph. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

Check your tires...make sure they arent effed up.

It could be your rear diff...drain the diff oil and look for metal shavings.

the howling noise ive noticed on the 06-07 models comes from the roof vain on the back of the rear window. My brother has the same noise and its kinda annoying but on my 05 it is not there at all. If it was the rear diff it would also make noise when you make hard right and left turns. The noise on my bros 06 is at its loudest at 80 and slowly goes away once you get passed 80 mph and you dont even hear it when you are at 140. haha

+1....the faster you go the louder the noise gets an then you start to hear noises youve never heard before...but from what i read its normal...but if youre in doubt then do as said above
